VJDC attracts students from a walk of life. Our institution hosts a diverse student population comprising of students from different religious, social, economic and linguistic background. The college becomes a meeting point for different cultures and traditions and provides an excellent opportunity for exchange of ideas.

Student Support

Student support and progression is one of the core criterions that the institution strives to attain through its educational pursuits and extracurricular activities. All through its diversified programs and ventures, it aims to drive student’s passion and intellectual curiosity towards their subjects of interests. In the attainment of the said goal, the institution practices and has laid out of a diversified student support and progression framework that greatly motivates and nurtures student’s educational endeavors. To meet the demand for holistic education pedagogy, the institution has framed mentorship programs, workshops, placement support and guidance aid amongst students.

Bridge Course & Orientation Programs

Bridge courses are the conducted for all the newly admitted first year students to revise the fundamental concepts. Al the new students are welcomed to the campus and informed about the rules and regulations of the college, course structure, examination process and placements procedure, code of conduct along with organization structure of VJDC.

Student Welfare Committees

The college has constituted committees like Grievance and malpractice committee, Prevention and Redressal committee, and Anti-ragging Cell to provide proper support for students. These committees will look into the concerns of student and ensure a safe and comfortable stay in the campus.

Concession & Freeship

VJDC believe that lack of financial resources should not hinder one’s pursuit of education. They have always given importance to empowering the marginalized and provide financial aid to those that deserve to pursue their education and achieve their dreams. Concession up to 75% for meritorious students and 100% freeship for over outperforming meritorious students.
