COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Community service education helps students to realize the talents are gifts to be developed, not for the self-satisfaction or self-gain, but rather to be utilized for the good of the human community. Students are encouraged to use their gifts in the service of others, out of love for God. The objective of the outreach program is to engage students in community service, instill in them a desire to serve, encourage them to think about society and motivate them to act and intervene in social issues.

Rural Camps

As a part of the outreach program the students visits villages and experience the realities of village life, their predicaments between their carrier duration and take challenges with minimum resources. They conduct outreach programs in these villages and work towards their betterment.

Social Service Clubs

The aim of VJDC is preparing persons for the service of others. At the heart of the college’s vision & mission is social concern. NSS and eco club are the associations dedicated to community service, instill in them a desire to serve, encourage them to think about society and motivate them to act and intervene in social issues. It is mandatory for al the first-year students to be part of any one of these associations.
